The Crimean Conference "Geoinformation Technology into the Practice of Territorial Development Management" - Experience of the Ten-year Work
The article is dedicated to a decade-long experience of the Crimean Conference of GIS-ESRI users. The article aiso features scientometric analysis of topics discussed during the conference: structure of presentations, participants, and the tendency of changes over 10 years. Also, the article provides the reference to major scientific works, published within the frameworks of the conference and gives expert assessment of GIS development perspectives in Ukraine as well as peculiarities of its implementation into the practice of territorial development management.

Technological and Geoinformational Aspects of Engineering-Geodetic Sounding Surveys in Water Areas
New and fundamentally progressive technology of sounding survey using echo sounder Bathy-500 df and GPS-coordination was elaborated and tested by Ukrenggeodesy for the first time in Ukraine. Technology description and survey accuracy determination are given in article. The examples of survey data usage for the purposes of river-bed cross-section flat area calculation as well as bathymetric maps creation and coating inwash analysis are also provided therein.

The paper considers the main approaches to development of digital spatial basis of land prices atlas for settlement areas. The attention is paid for estimation of criteria that should be used when the spatial basis is created. The spatial basis from one hand should have enough data to realize main analysis and modeling tasks in the land valuation procedures and from the other hand shouldn't have redundant data.

Administrative-Territorial Division of Crimea in the Second Half of 20th Century: Reconstruction Experience
The article presents a major initiative on collecting some isolated information on administrative-territorial division of Crimea in the second half of 20lh century and, based on this data, producing a geographical database with a set of digital maps. The achieved result is of more than pure historic interest. The data on changes in number and configuration of districts, their size would be useful for various fields of science - geography, economics, sociology etc, as well as for the state governance bodies.

The Analysis of Features of Natural Focuses Tick-Borne Encephalitis in Crimea by means of GIS-Technologies
The characteristic of the natural focuses tick-borne encephalitis in Crimea is given. It is established communication the focuses to a foothill forest-steppe zone. The optimal conditions of activization of ticks are the raised temperature and humidity. The opportunity of use of geoinformation technologies as auxiliary method is shown at an estimation of influence of climate-geographical factors on long-term existence of the natural focuses tick-borne encephalitis in Crimea.

Direction of Informatization an Ecological Condition Estimations of the Geological Environment within Coal-Mining Regions Territories
In work the analysis of environmental problems of coal-mining regions is resulted, the basic directions of ecological condition estimations informatization of environment in their limits are formulated and experience of development in UkrSGRI the program complex "GydroDonbas" which consists of cartographical and factographical database is stated, and also the specialized software that allows to fill up databases quickly and effectively and to process the information.

Experience of Combined Application of Remote Sensing and CIS-Technologies Tools with the Aim of Estimation of Phytosanitary State of the ChNPP Exclusion Zone Forest Stand
In this paper the investigation results of phytosanitary state of the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone natural growth on the basis of using RSE/GlS-technologies are described. The reflectance spectra characteristics of injured natural growth were determined, the growth was classified and its phytosanitary state was estimated.

Estimation of a Deformation Condition of Building Designs of Object "Shelter" by means of Geodetic Data
In clause use of geodetic data for an estimation of a deformation condition of building designs of object "Shelter" is considered. By present time, during engineering-geodetic supervision for "Shelter objekt" during 20 years, the significant information on evolution of spatial coordinates of control marks is saved up. On the basis of their analysis and mathematical modelling mathematical models of processing of geodetic data and forecasting for last stage of measurements (with 1999 on present time) have been constructed.

The Database Model of Natural-Economic Territorial Systems of the Local and Regional Managements Levels
The article deals with methodology and technology of data model construction for natural-economic territoriai systems on local and regional levels. This data model is supposed to appreciate the condition of natural resources, monitoring, supporting of decision-taking on different levels of territorial management. The principles of selection and formalization of informational parameters for territorial objects of different hierarchical levels are taken into consideration. The technological supporting of data model is based on program components ArcGIS of the firm ESRI.

Use of a Full Set of the Normalized Band-Difference Indexes for Land Cover Classification on Multispeetral Space Imagery
For quality of land cover classification on multispeetral space imagery improvement due to invariance against additive and multiplicative distortions of registered optical spectra is offered to use a full set of the normalized band- difference indexes - the ratios, in which numerator is a difference and denominator is a sum of appropriate radiometric magnitudes for all possible pairs of spectral bands. If classes spectral signatures are known then optimization of the normalized band-difference indexes set used for classification is possible by minimum of error summary probability criteria. The use of optimal set of the normalized band-difference indexes increases land cover classification accuracy on the nine-bands EOS/ASTER space imagery to 15-20 %.

The methods of semi-automated system evaluation of NETS geological adaptability is worked out for ihe first time. At the heart of evaluation is the geoecological adaptability of NETS by the landscape component structure, which is with the regard for the degree of qualities conformity of the landscape components and structure with the kinds of nature management existing in the given region. The evaluation of NETS geoecological adaptability includes the ability of the relief to natural purification, as well as normative limitations (water-protective and control areas).
