RSE/GIS-technologies applying for recent geodynamics  assessment of territories in the  context of the geological isolation problem of the dangerous industrial waste
Analysis  of  the landscape units  using of  remote  sensing of  the  Earth (RSE)  data  for  the Korostensky pluton  region  shows  the  main  indicators  of  the  structures  with  disjunctive  character.  It  was  determined  that  lineaments  network  and  their  zones  as  a  whole  within  the  territory  in  question  represents  the  regional  geotectonic fault-block frame of the basement and sedimentary cover. Using geoinformation system (GIS) it  was compiled the structure-tectonic scheme for the region at the recent stage of its evolution. The scheme is a  base of the subsequent study for the territory’s geological structure features to localize the sites appropriate for  the radioactive waste (RAW) disposal. Within one of them – the Veresnia site – the analysis of a space  allocation of local areas with process of tension and contraction deformations at the recent tectogenesis stage  allows to outline the long-term grounds for the RAW disposal.

Method for soil fertility estimation with the use of space surveys (on the base of  Tatarbunary district in Odessa region)
The method for estimating soil fertility which includes optimal transition from point sampling of samples to  data surface modeling and their further state forecasting is presented in the article.  Practical researches for  method  were  carried  out  for  Tatarbunary  district  in  Odessa  region.  Recommendations  for  the  optimal  placement of farming cultures were presented.

The  Ukrainian  Forest  Management  GIS  Server  Development 
The  problems  of  the  Ukrainian  Forest  Management  GIS  Server  Development  and  Implementation  are  considered.  The  optimal  structure  and  functionality  of  GIS  Server  given  the  modern  state  of  Forest  Management  are  defined.  The  structural  feature  of  specific  Automatic  Workstations  in  the  complex  architecture is described. The use of Cartographic Materials and Remote Sensing Data for the needs of the  Ukrainian Forest Management GIS Server is characterized. Made the GIS Server Pilot Project Development  based in the separate forestry.

Development  intellectual  geoinformation  system  in  diagnostic  problems  territorial- industrial system
Within  given  work  was  given  proof  of  necessity  using  intellectual  GIS  for  solving  modeling  tasks  and  prediction territorial-industrial systems states of Ukraine (particularly, diagnosis and system data classification  by security level and sustainable development), thus in traditional  GIS the basic analysis type is statistical  analysis. However in crysis conditions predictions of territorial-industrial systems states are related to bad  multivariate problem formalization with  not enough  defined information and multiple  connections between  rates.  Also  within  work  software  package  architecture  was  offered,  permitting  integration  neural  network  computation technology in GIS for solving diagnosis and classification tasks of  erritorial-industrial systems,  and neural network structure building algorithm was developed.

Optimization of networks for maintenance of roads by the tools of GIS-analysis

Watersheds modelling algorithm based on the digital elevation mode is developed with Spatial Analyst Tools  included in ArcGIS 9.3 software. Dependence of stream links quantity on the value of accumulated stream is  analysed. Resulting function can be used for the modelling of different granularity watersheds.

Automatic  extraction  of    topographic  features  of  the  terrain 
Improving the efficiency calculations appear without any significant loss of information is one of the main  problems in solving a variety of applications, such as such as the allocation of communication facilities, wind- power stations, fire and observation towers, radar installations, the modeling of  tourist routes, as well as for  special issues (planning, protection of facilities, flight paths, placement of equipment).  The article discusses the algorithm of automation definition of topographic features (?DTF) of the terrain as a  means to improve the efficiency of spatial analysis in ArcGIS environment.

Open-cast mine spatial modeling
Introduction of geoinformation systems as effective means information ensuring of mining based on fulfilment  of works complex: spatial data collection and processing, creation spatial models. Spatial modeling technology  based on using aerial photographs is developed with ArcGIS 9.3 software. Three-dimensional model can use  in open-cast mine planning, exploitation, mining transport management. Paper describes the volume of rock  solving method with using open-cast mine model.

Cartographic modeling of geochemical fields
The  method  of  GIS  cartographic  modeling  of  geochemical  fields  is  considered,  which  allows  the  automatic  mode to create electronic and paper maps, analyze geographic regularities of spread of chemical elements. The  basic  steps  for  creating  electronic  maps  of  geochemical  fields  and  approaches  to  reporting  data  of  means  vector  and  raster  models  are  detected.  A  comparative  analysis  of  advantages  and  disadvantages  of  the  interpolation of geochemical data by various methods is held.

Determination of ratings of attractiveness of districts of the Donetsk area as a result  of  application GIS tourist-recreative  resources   of  region 
In the article, the issue of the day of evaluation of attractiveness of the territories of the industrial region is  examined, on the basis of application of estimation in points and the GIS-technology. In the article, the results  of the usage of the first in the Donetsk region the GIS of tourist-recreative resources of the area are presented  for the solution of registry and analytical issues in tourism. The ratings of attractiveness of the administrative  units of the area, that were obtained, allowed to expose backlogs of development of tourist resources in them  and work out the recommendations on their development on the basis of the analysis of descriptions of the  objects of the natural, cultural-historic and socio-economic blocks of the system.

Development of methods for satellite monitoring of trophic status of water bodies
The paper discusses the use of the data of Landsat-5 / 7 and Terra / Aqua-MODIS for trophic classification of  lakes and reservoirs in Ukraine.  To solve this problem, we used a double mask,  obtained from the images in  the near infrared region of the spectrum and vector mask waters SWBD. For the first time trophic  classification is made more than 4000 lakes and reservoirs in Ukraine using data ortomozaiki 78 multispectral  satellite  images  of  Landsat-5  TM  and  ETM  +  Landsat-7.  Developed  and  tested  in  July-August  2010  Technology of operational monitoring of the trophic state of large bodies of water using multispectral mosaics  orthorectification of satellite images Terra / Aqua-MODIS.
